Mabel the Naughty Pig
Mabel is a very, very lucky girl. She was born at a pig farm and destined to be slaughtered for meat at only a few months old. She would have been kept indoors with no space to play or explore.
Mabel was the runt of the litter. As she was bred for commercial reasons, the farmer put her aside for premature slaughter, as she would not grow quick enough to be financially viable.
Thankfully she was rescued and brought to us. Now young and full of life, she tears around like a whirlwind. Pigs are highly intelligent and need stimulation, she certainly is, digging up the compost heap, chasing chickens and tearing around the field.
We are now looking for a home for this amazing girl.
