We always have lots of ducks looking for a life-long home, ducks of various breeds.

before adopting ducks, there are a few considerations to take into account;
- Ducks are a flock species and therefore naturally live in groups so need to be living with thier own kind in pairs minimum, ideally groups.
- They need a pond to bathe which will need fresh clean water daily, unless very large.
- During dusk until dawn they will need to be locked up into a predator proof enclosure such as a large shed or building, even if you have a pond with an island, domesticated ducks will not instinctively roost in safety so need to be locked up safely.
- Ducks are very messy, if you plan to keep them in a garden, be prepared to have your lawn annihilated.
- Give a lot of thought to space and male/female ratio, if you have too many for the space you have, apart from turning it into a quagmire they can start squabbling.
