Barry and Barney

Meet Barry and Barney, two 6 year old rescued pygmy goats we have recently admitted, these castrated boys are now looking for a life-long home.Goats need a large grassed area, free of poisonous plants with secure fencing and shelter to get out of the weather. They require hay and clean water at all times and supplement hard feed. Their feet need regular attention to trim them and check for signs of foot rot. In addition they require annual vaccinations and worming.Goats can live quite happily alongside sheep and ponies, although they don’t bond with them and so just like sheep, goats, pigs, ponies etc, there should always be at least two of each.
