Guinea Pigs in Need of a Home
*** Update Now rehomed*** We have 3 groups of guinea pigs that are looking for homes. Two neutered boys, three girls and two unneutered boys. Get in touch if you can offer any of them a home.
We travel far and near to rescue these poor girls, this time is was a long trek down south to rescue another 110 hens, at their end of their short productive lives, we rescued a few of the tens of thousands going for slaughter, many going for pet food.
This morning we took delivery of another five pigs, thats 18 we have rescued this year and a total to 14 we currently have at the sanctuary. We have waited a long time to do another hen rescue but this weekend we have secured a retirement for 80 ex bats. have now collected the ladies and hope to get them into their new homes as soon as possible. We will be ringing people that are currently on our waiting list for hens.
We now have five fox cubs in our care. This female was found trapped in garden netting which has cut deep into her neck leaving an infected wound, she has also become separated from her mum.
