Fox Rescue

We took a call yesterday afternoon from a school that had managed to catch a fox with a bad case of mange. Amazingly the brilliant staff and pupils had managed to trap the poorly fox in a corridor in the school and even fed the hungry little guy before we got there to pick him up. We get lots of calls about foxes with mange which we always try to treat ‘in situ’ but this one we took to the vets for an assessment an treatment straight away. He’s now recovering in our stable and will be re-released when well enough and his fur has grown back. Big thanks to the school who were brilliant and really instrumental in helping this fox!! We wish more people were able to facilitate rescuing animals in this way. As always big thanks to our fabulous vets Eastwood Vets4Pets who literally dropped everything to help and administer treatment. We love teamwork.
