Barney’s Long Journey for Love

So Prince Harry does 100 mile round trip to get his girlfriend to a wedding but we have done 400 miles and 8 hours of driving over the weekend to get Barney to his forever home. I think our trip was far more important and far more newsworthy and worth every mile of travel.

Barney arrived yesterday at the most beautiful home and fabulous family. His new friends Orlando and Poppy were there to welcome him into their home……as well as the rescue dogs, hens, guinea pigs and tortoises (not to mention his new human keepers too). It was the perfect home for the middle aged boy and the little pensioner Poppy clicked and creaked over to meet her new fella. Orlando exerted his authority but seemed happy with his new friend.

    Another Stray Cat

We admitted this stray cat this week, although we are full and turning away requests to take in more cats every day, we just felt we needed to help this poor girl. A guy had been feeding her, she is all skin and bones, he caught her and took her straight to our vets. After…

This week calls have included providing advice to vets, the fire brigade and the Police on several occasions. We receive many…
