Barney’s Long Journey for Love

So Prince Harry does 100 mile round trip to get his girlfriend to a wedding but we have done 400 miles and 8 hours of driving over the weekend to get Barney to his forever home. I think our trip was far more important and far more newsworthy and worth every mile of travel.

Barney arrived yesterday at the most beautiful home and fabulous family. His new friends Orlando and Poppy were there to welcome him into their home……as well as the rescue dogs, hens, guinea pigs and tortoises (not to mention his new human keepers too). It was the perfect home for the middle aged boy and the little pensioner Poppy clicked and creaked over to meet her new fella. Orlando exerted his authority but seemed happy with his new friend.

  • 6 Ewes Rescued

A few weeks ago our friends at Brook Farm Animal Sanctuary took in 30 sheep from a gentleman who could no longer care for them. We are helping by taking on 6 ewes, and they have made good friends with our resident ram, Jakey. The ewes are now all wormed, hooves trimmed and wool sheared,…
