We have found three rams and a ewe to an amazing home where we have re-homed pet sheep before. These four have joined a resident pair to make a new flock, that have lots and lots of open space, lush grasses and wild plants to feed off and good shelter.This is all in good time as we have already took a call to take in five more!
Today we rescued some ex-barn hens, we took on 250, unfortunately the remaining 20,000 odd will go for slaughter. These girls came all the way from Norfolk and are ready to be re-homed. Rescued, another 5 pet pigs. We now have 15 pigs lo, although we have 5 reserved, ten are looking for lifelong homes. We sadly turn away ten times more pigs than we get homes offered for. When will people stop going to breeders and offer homes to those in rescue centres looking for a home!
