Rabbit Overload

The days get shorter, the weather gets colder (slightly) and the phone starts constantly going for us to take in more unwanted rabbits.

In the past week we have taken in 10 more rabbits and re-homed only 2, but this is unsustainable, we can’t take on more and more, so unfortunately we do have to turn them away. In fact we have had to turn away around 200 since January.

This little mum has a home to go to but sadly she came in with 4 babies that also all need homes.

All of our rabbits are health checks, neutered and vaccinated, we home check and never let these sociable animals be homed on their own. If only pets shops and breeders took this responsible approach.
