Herbie, the Hebridian sheep was abandoned by his former owner and left to fend for himself. Fortunately he was noticed and was taken care of in the short term, until he could be brought to us. Rainbow and Snowy were lovely little pigs. They had not been handled and were quite frightened. They found a lovely home with a young girl from Brinsley who helps out at our open days and is a budding young animal lover.
These two baby goats were a result of the milk industry, unwanted and were destined to become pet food. Fortunately we rescued them and they now live in a large garden in Gedling
Prince (now called Henry) found a fabulous home with some ex-bats and another couple of girls. Prince had a powerful pair of lungs on him and is probably going to prove to be the best alarm call in Lambley! (Sorry residents of Lambley)!! Prince was found in a ditch so what a happy ending this…
These three girls were very, very lucky, they won the lottery! They were due to go to slaughter, however we managed to save them and rehome them. This is this is them in their new home settling in. if only more ex-battery and free range hens could find great homes like these!
