ByJonEach year 10s of millions of chickens are slaughtered at only 72 weeks old, even though they will continue to lay eggs for years. We rescue as many as we can and rehome them. These beauties came for Brighton and so far we have found homes for over 90.
Chickens Rehomed – Feb 08
ByJonThese three girls were very, very lucky, they won the lottery! They were due to go to slaughter, however we managed to save them and rehome them. This is this is them in their new home settling in. if only more ex-battery and free range hens could find great homes like these!
150 Caged Hens Rescued – All rehomed!
ByJonToday we have rescued 150 caged hens from a caged farm in Lincs. This is a fraction of the thousands going to slaughter from the farm, but these lucky ladies are safe, recovering and now we want life-long homes for them. Thankfully these girls are safe now, and have now all found homes.
