Timothy & William

** Rehomed**

Description: Hi our names are William and Timothy. We around 9 months old and are both otter coloured rex rabbit bucks.

About me:  We arrived together on the 2/10/16 as our previous owner grew bored of us.

Temperament: We are quite a skittish pair and we take our time to come and see you. Once we get to know you, We’ll happily take treats from you but we are still weary of you stroking us. We don’t really like to be picked up but settle when we feel secure in your arms.  We are both diggers and can be an indoor or outdoor rabbits.

Type Of Home Wanted. We must be rehomed together. We wouldn’t be suitable for children due to our skittish behaviour. We are preferably looking for someone with previous experience with our breed.

Rexes suffer with sore hocks. Therefore they must not be kept on any hard or rough textured flooring. An suitable indoor enclosure would be a padded area with either a hutch or cube cage. They cannot be on carpet too much. A suitable outdoor cage would be a double tier wooden hutch with a run built on concrete covered in soil/ bark. Rexes must have their claws trimmed frequently. For more information and housing ideas please read this

General Health: We are in good health, castrated and am up to date with our vaccinations.

Adoption Fee: To help the charity cover the costs of vaccinations, neutering and housing costs. We ask for a minimal donation of £75 for both Timothy and William.

If you think you can offer Timothy and William a “furever home” please do not hesitate to contact us using the details below. We are not open to the public and viewing is by appointment only.

For the welfare of the rabbit we ask to do a home check or if you live far ( out of 15 mile radius from NG16 5AX) to see photo evidence of your set up. What we look for is sufficient space:

At minimum a hutch at 6ft x 2ft x 2ft with an attached run of 6ft squared. That the accommodation is fox proof, that the rabbit has a partner and that you’ll be able to provide for the animal.

Please note we cannot reserve rabbits until you have met them in person.

Thanks for viewing 🙂
