R.I.P. Boris

We are truly devastated beyond words, there have been many tears shed as last night our amazing blind bull Boris passed away. The sanctuary will never be the same without our truly amazing gentle giant, who adored human contact and interaction and was an inspiration to us all.

Boris Bull was 14, an amazing age for a factory farmed animal who, had we not rescued him, would have otherwise been slaughtered before his first birthday. Both Jon and Beth, the charity founders, were comforting Boris as he passed late last night. We have lots to be truly thankful for, he gave us so much and we provided him with love and an amazing home.

Please feel free to share your photos and stories of our Boris on this post, our 1,500kG gentle giant, we are obviously very upset so will share more of Boris later.

RIP Boris 5/7/08 – 19/11/22
