Our New Tractor Arrives

We have been putting aside funds for a while now, to buy a tractor and make life a little easier at the sanctuary. This week we finally took delivery of our 35 year old David Brown which has been lovingly restored, Vera as we have named her is a real beauty.

Vera will be used for many tasks including moving muck, putting fence posts in, muck spreading and also making hay.

Thanks to Henry at Stretton Agri-machinery where we bought our little white machine, Henry kindly donated a large amount of straw and is helping us source some implements once we have the funds.

Also a massive thanks to Nat and Cathy two of our regular volunteers who actually scoured the length and breadth of the country to find a tractor that suited our needs!
