Dumped Kittens

Ever thought about how to eradicate a fifth of our open day taking in one go? Answer, dump 8 kittens at the top of the drive with little thought about how we are going to raise the money to keep them and get them rehomed! Easy.

Every day we are faced with challenges but over the last 2 weeks we just seem to be constantly dealing with dumped animals.  It is driving us mad and just so upsetting.  Money set aside for fencing and stock proofing will now have to be diverted into neutering, microchipping, combi testing, worming and raising 8 little mouths all because some thoughtless idiot couldn’t be bothered to get a female cat spayed!.  The mother of these kittens could now be pregnant again and causing more unnecessary litters of kittens.

Each year we receive dozens of calls from people asking us to  take on their unwanted pet pigs. Unfortunately they buy them from breeders as cute and cudly piglets with little or no advice and no idea of how big they will grow to.
