Coping with the Snow

Managing a 22 acre animal sanctuary whilst holding down full-time jobs is hard, coping with the snow creates additional challenges for us all, we are though so grateful for our team of dedicated, animal loving volunteers, who turn out no matter what the weather to help ensure our residents have warm bedding, top up frozen waters and are coping in this cold.

Some animals have fun in the snow. The ponies have had a great time running around the field, rolling in the snow and playing, even digging in the snow with their noses.

Here’s a few pictures taken by our volunteers this morning during operation clean out!
