Alli & Abi
Alli is a little nervous but understandably so, as she came from a dreadful breeder. She would make a lovely pet for someone, she needs loads of time and fuss.
Abi is a pure black rabbit. At present she is a bit timid. She had been used by a breeder but she really needs a permanent loving home.
Rosie was going to be ‘necked’ by her previous owners violent partner. Thank goodness we got to her. She has hopefully got a new husbun called Ralphie and a great home. Rosie was a beautiful little girl who needed a special home.
Prince (now called Henry) found a fabulous home with some ex-bats and another couple of girls. Prince had a powerful pair of lungs on him and is probably going to prove to be the best alarm call in Lambley! (Sorry residents of Lambley)!! Prince was found in a ditch so what a happy ending this…
Charlie was a sweet little man, he came to us via Broxtowe Borough Council, we did’nt really know much about his history. Charlie was bonded here with another 5 rabbits (all originally from us). He has found an amazing home with 5 lifelong friends and a loving family.
Our volunteers have mixed feelings saying goodbye to Bob and Brenda, two geese that have been with us to seven years now. Geese make great guard dogs, they are territorial and if you’re a stranger, beware of the loud honks and ankle nipping! Generally people are more frightened of geese than they are of dogs….
This weekend we rehomed our little Billy who first came to us in 2011, when he arrived with Smartie. Back then they were both very nervous boys, a result of neglect and mistreatment from a former home. Billy, a miniature Shetland pony is now full of confidence and full of character. He loves the girls…
