Pet of the Week – Flossy

Meet Flossy, a giant female albino rabbit looking for a life-long home with a partner.

Flossy is large, she weights around 10 kg and so needs to be homed to an adult, ideally someone with experience with rabbits. She is handle-able, but being so large she is also strong and therefore not suitable to be handled by children.

Flossy needs to be homed with a friend, in large cage and fox proof run. Flossy will soon be neutered, but we are looking for a suitable home now, along with 40 odd other rabbits in our care.

    We have released another swan, the second in two days, after treatment. We rescued this one after reports that she had collapsed. On release we Searched for her partner, however he couldn’t be found, we left her near her nest and she was calling out for him. We hope they become reunited.
