Partridge Released after Broken Wing Injury
This beautiful male Partridge was brought to us by staff at the City Hospital Nottingham. He lived with his partner in the hospital grounds, but had received an injury to his wing, breaking it.
The break was on a joint, so we didn’t have too much hope that we’d be able to release him back in the wild with his partner. However after 6 weeks with the wing bound and a couple of weeks restrengthening his wing the an aviary, he was able to be released back into the wild and be reunited with his girlfriend. Such a great end.
