These cheeky guys were rescued by us at only one week old along with 4 others. We had to hand reared them, and so they became very friendly, they follow us around everywhere and are great fun to be with, we are sad that they have gone, but they are now in a new home, with a large field.
Bruno and Liza were very friendly, affectionate rabbits and got very excitable around feeding time. They found a marvellous home in Chesterfield with many other animals. Poor Poppy came in so thin her back bone was prominent and she only looked like a baby guinea. She soon put on weight and by keeping her indoors she became a cheeky guinea who always liked to snatch a good carrot from your hand.
Spud was an adorable fella in need of a friend. He has now been rehomed and is in the process of bonding with a young doe called Hester. He will soon be living with Bryn too so that will be the happy ending that young Spud deserves.
Earlier this week we fetched 50 commercial ducks from Worcestershire, that were off for slaughter, these have been factory farmed for their eggs, now at the end of their commercial life they were off for meat. We have been unable to save over 5,000 that have gone to the slaughter house, but at least these girls…
