Barney Arrives at the Sanctuary

Today, after we finished all of the normal daily morning chores, we headed off the Newark where Venus a female rabbit found a lovely life long home with a boy bunny. Then we headed off to Yorkshire to collect Barney, a 7 year old pygmy goat.

Barney had been living all on his own since his friend died 2 years ago, poor old Barney. Today Barney was introduced to our herd of goats and sheep. He soon settled in and went for the hay.
So today alone we have traveled over 200 miles, tomorrow its back to work.
