A great day today at our Summer Open day will over 1,000 people coming along to support us. Not all of the funds are in as yet, however so far we have taken £5,335, a huge boost to the charity.
Thank you very much to all of our volunteers who have worked so hard preparing for the day and over the next few days putting everything away and cleaning up.

Today Maggie, Sky, Dorothy and Matilda arrived at their new home. We’ll miss these girls, however we’ve now got space to take in more animals, in fact there’s another pair already lined up to arrive.

So Friday evening we rescued Matilda and 9 piglets, yesterday we had a number of wildlife admissions, collected 3 goats from wales and admitted some unwanted pet rabbits. Many months ago we took in a beautiful hare, after weeks of bottle feeding, she started to eat solids. Eating on her own was such a relief for us, as she soon started to pile on the weight and it was an end to hours of bottle feeding, not easy when we both work for a living! Rearing baby…
