We have found three rams and a ewe to an amazing home where we have re-homed pet sheep before. These four have joined a resident pair to make a new flock, that have lots and lots of open space, lush grasses and wild plants to feed off and good shelter.This is all in good time as we have already took a call to take in five more!
It didn’t take us long before these two guys found a new home. They were originally rescued from a home where they were abused, now, thanks to Brinsley Animal Rescue they have found a life-long loving home. They have a large stable and their own paddock, boy they are lucky.
The badger we took in via Mid Derbyshire Badger Group has been successfully released back to where he was found. As they are nocturnal, its important that this is done at nighttime whilst they are active.
This weekend has been quite busy, we rehomed two Pygmy Goats, unfortunately though two sheep came in. This week we have rescued another 85 battery hens, after a short life of only 18 months, they were destined to become pet food. Battery hens soon recover and make great pets. These girls have finally ventured out and seen daylight and experienced space for the very first time in their lives.

Rescued, another 5 pet pigs. We now have 15 pigs lo, although we have 5 reserved, ten are looking for lifelong homes. We sadly turn away ten times more pigs than we get homes offered for. When will people stop going to breeders and offer homes to those in rescue centres looking for a home!
