Today we had the Capital One top team volunteering at the rescue centre. This is the second volunteering day that that Capital One have spent here, they all grafted hard and got a lot of jobs complete that we just haven’t got the time to finish ourselves.

We have another swan in our care. This chap was found on a back lawn, it appears he crash landed hitting the house on his way. He’s been checked over and apart from a few minor injuries, the main concern is an eye injury which we are treating him for.
When we heard about Boris, we just had to agree to take him on. Boris’s mum was ill with BVD when she was pregnant with him, this caused Boris’s blindness. As he would be difficult to rear for the farmer, we agreed to take him on.
Herbie, the Hebridian sheep was abandoned by his former owner and left to fend for himself. Fortunately he was noticed and was taken care of in the short term, until he could be brought to us.
