These adorable but naughty rabbits finally got a loving home in time for Christmas.
Mrs Brown (so called because she found a home with a Mr Brown) was a lovely placid rabbit. After a quick bit of dating they appear to be a lovely bonded couple who will spend lots of time binkying round an enclosed garden. Here is a photo of the beautiful couple:
Finding homes for baby rabbits is normally quite easy, however while ever the babies are being rehomed the adults get left behind. Thousands of rabbits sit in recue centres awaiting new homes, yet people continue to breed them for money.
We are very pleased to announced that Truffels has been re-homed. She came to us earlier in the year, she had lived with a family and thier pets dogs, but really she should be with other piggies as well. Whilst at ours she was surrounds by her piggy friends but now it’s great to see…
Bruno and Liza were very friendly, affectionate rabbits and got very excitable around feeding time. They found a marvellous home in Chesterfield with many other animals. When we took them to their new home Liza showed herself up by attempting to eat a salt lick rather than licking it!! This lovely pair have become house rabbits…
Four of these ducks went to an amazing new home over the weekend, they now live with other ducks who photobombed this shot!! They also now live with some chickens! Three of the ducks were given up as pets a few months ago, we’ll miss the cheeky characters, they follow the volunteers around the sanctuary…
