Laddie came to the rescue after being rounded up in the Dartmoor cull where he was going to be sold for meat. Since being at the rescue he has been learning through positive reinforcement what is expected of him in day to day situations. He recently returned from a temporary home where he was able to build a lot of confidence and he’s now ready to find a new forever home where he can live out, ideally 24/7 with other horses.
Laddie is a curious boy who enjoys learning new things. He will make someone a fun and loving companion but as he can still need reassurance at times a gentle, calm and patient home with someone enthusiastic about continuing his education would be ideal for this boy.

Please note that we are not open to the general public and an appointment is needed to view. Please arrive ready for the weather and with sensible footwear for the fields. Laddie lives on our other site, which is a few minutes away in the car.
To help cover the costs of vetting, dentist, farrier and housing costs we ask for a minimal donation of £60, one standing payment. You will be agreeing to a loan contract, in which will be discussed in your appointment.
