Well it chucked it down almost all day, we all got very wet but thanks a million to all of our dedicated supporters who braved the poor weather and came to our open day.
We didn’t do as well as previous years, but we never expected to with the weather being so poor, but we never expected to see well over 300 people and to raise over £3,600.

On Saturday we re-homed Oliver, Oscar and Olive to a great new home in Northampton. Oliver and Oscar were rescued last year, along with their two brothers who were homed in 2011. This lovely pair of Embden geese (goose and gander) arrived this week after their owner sadly passed away. We were able to take them in as two other pairs in our care have been rehomed. Geese are not easy to rehome, they are often with us for several years untill a great home is offered….
