Lucky little kittens

Whilst the girls from ‘The Lovely Tails’ (Brinsley Animal Rescues ebay shop) were out at lunch they found a gentleman wandering round the tea room with a wicker basket.  Unfortunately intrigue got the better of one of the girls (Amanda!!!) and they soon found out that there was 4 homeless, frightened looking little black and white kittens with nowhere to go.  Seizing the chance they made the quick decision to take the bundles of fluff back to the rescue in a crisp box and give them a chance at life. These kittens went straight to the vets to bump up the monthly bill and get combi tested for FIV and FeLV. Fortunately they are all negative so once they are wormed and deflead then they will be looking for homes.  There are 2 boys and 2 girls.  The girls already have homes.  We have an adoption fee of £50 which covers their vaccinations, neutering and microchipping.  If you can give a home to one of these lucky little souls then please get in touch. If you want to help pay for their veterinary treatment and care then please make a donation or you can help by making purchases from ‘The Lovely Tails’ rescue shop.

    Bob and Brenda Rehomed

Our volunteers have mixed feelings saying goodbye to Bob and Brenda, two geese that have been with us to seven years now. Geese make great guard dogs, they are territorial and if you’re a stranger, beware of the loud honks and ankle nipping! Generally people are more frightened of geese than they are of dogs….
