Fox Cub Arrives

This beautiful fox cub arrived at the weekend, we believe her mother has been killed, and there are no signs of other cubs. Fortunately she is eating herself and she’s doing well. Currently she’s in our animal hospital ready to go for blood test, then she’ll be transferred to our large fox enclosure.

Fox cubs stay in groups with their mother until around September when they disperse and go their own way. As they grow up they play fight and interact with their siblings, this teaches them the essential life skills they need to survive in the tough world. We therefore need to obtain more rescued cubs to form a group or move her to another rescue, to start interacting with her species.
