This young swan came from Sleaford, she is very weak and easily caught which is unusual for a swan. We have put her on antibiotics and are having to tube feed her twice a day.

Although Bear came from a different home to Biscuit and Humbug, they quickly bonded and became the best of friends. When we found a home that would take all three, we were so happy for them. We took them to their new home in North Wales where they now live with ample land to explore.
Lulu was living on a lake at Nottingham University, she came to us very run down and weak.

We travel far and near to rescue these poor girls, this time is was a long trek down south to rescue another 110 hens, at their end of their short productive lives, we rescued a few of the tens of thousands going for slaughter, many going for pet food.

We rehomed our last 5 goats earlier this year and haven’t had any since, then all in the space of a week we have taken in 5 from 3 separate locations.
The Summer Open Day was a great day, there was a sense of community spirit and the feedback we received was fantastic. Its pleasing that the Dartmoor ponies are progressing well. Although still a little jumpy, they now go for a walk on a lead rope.
