Although Bear came from a different home to Biscuit and Humbug, they quickly bonded and became the best of friends. When we found a home that would take all three, we were so happy for them. We took them to their new home in North Wales where they now live with ample land to explore.
We have to deal with unwanted pets coming to us on an almost daily basis. We can only cope with so many and so it is very hard for us when we have to say no, far too often. These pets are given up for many reasons, some genuine but increasingly many more are given up…
So far this year we are having greater success in rehoming piggies, sadly the calls to take them in, is remains relentless and far outweighs those we home. This weekend we said goodbye to the three boys that only arrived in February. As you can see they have a great new home. IMG_4999
At this time of year when the grass has stopped growing and our animals need to eat more and have warm bedding, our bills increase yet our income reduces. Cherry was bonded with a rabbit here called Brinsley and went to live in a fabulous home. She was a bit of a grump but we got her spayed and with a friend and space to run around she seemed to be a lot better.
