These cute little couple came to us from an unwanted home, but they weren’t with us for long.

Each year 10s of millions of chickens are slaughtered at only 72 weeks old, even though they will continue to lay eggs for years. We rescue as many as we can and rehome them. These beauties came for Brighton and so far we have found homes for over 90.
Jimmy was a friendly, tame boy who found a girlfriend called Bramble. After a bit of speed dating they were firm friends.
A volunteer spotted this little lady whilst cleaning out her cage and immediately offered her a home. She was a lovely gem of a mouse who was very handleable and very friendly.
This special little girl found a great new home as a companion.
These two doves were released together in early July. One came to us as a chick which was hand reared, the other had a broken leg, which was repaired prior to release.
These 2 boys found a marvellous home not too far away. They have a great hutch and a lovely run that they will enjoy the Summer sunshine in. They are the last of Hickory’s babies and now we just need to find a special home for her
This couple were dumped in a box at Carlton Police Station by mindless idiots. We get lots of calls about unwanted cockerels and it makes us extremely angry, people either decide to hatch some eggs (including schools we hasten to add) or accidentally buy cockerels at cattle markets because they don’t do their research properly…
We had two beautiful female guinea pigs in that were so overfed, we thought that they were both pregnant, as a result we did not even take a photo of them for the website. But thankfully they weren’t and they now have a loving home.
