Gloria De-Piero MP for Ashfield paid a visit to the sanctuary today. I think she was a bit overwhelmed by Boris the bull who was wandering around but he loved the attention. She saw the progress of the wildlife hospital and had a look at some of the animals we are currently caring for.

In the past few days we got contacted to take in some ponies whose owner had been prosecuted. The owner had over 60 ponies, some pregnant mares, stallions and foals. This year we will be holding our Summer Open day on Sunday 11th August 2013 from 11am until 4pm. This a community event and so will have lots of local stalls, veggie burgers, a fabulous cafe and a licensed bar, selling Blind Boris, brewed by local Marpool brewery and named after our famous blind bull….
This handsome boy was found wandering the streets of Bulwell. We knew that he is loved by someone, he was in good condition and was wearing a collar complete with bell. Thanks to the Nottingham Evening Post who put out an appeal, we almost immediately reunited Mr Snuffles with his rightful owner.
