Oliver

It’s been a full on day today at the rescue and it was ‘C’ day for our little boy Ollie. Our lovely @the.stray.vet who is leaving us to go travelling (no, we can’t believe it either!!!) carried out the procedure and we’re glad to say little Ollie is already up and on his feet rummaging about.

As a charity our greatest cost by far is neutering all the animals that come in to us. Not only does it help with some unwanted behaviour (and an entire boar can be dangerous to have around) but it also means that we can house animals in social groups without the risk of more unwanted animals.

Subscribers to the charity can see a video of Ollie recovering from his op! Thankyou to everyone that regularly donates and makes these ops possible. Big thanks to Steph for being one of our best vets!

    Hand Rearing Squirrels

On 20 August we had three very young squirrels delivered to us, these were found by a member of the public that had disturbed them whilst cleaning a chimney. Unfortunately the mother left her three babies and was too frightened to return. We are now hand rearing all three, this is very time consuming, feeding…
