Bear, Biscuit and Humbug Rehomed 16 October
Although Bear came from a different home to Biscuit and Humbug, they quickly bonded and became the best of friends. When we found a home that would take all three, we were so happy for them. We took them to their new home in North Wales where they now live with ample land to explore.
Owl Release
This Tawny Owl was brought to us from Shipley County Park, where he was found lying on the ground, cold, wet and at deaths door. After a few hours in an incubator, he was warm enough to be force fed and treated. Over the next few days he gained strength, within a week he was eating by himself….
Swan Rescue
This unfortunate swan managed to get a large fishing hook caught in his foot. This has now been removed by a vet and he’s with us whilst resting and completes a course of antibiotics. All looks positive for a release back with his partner in a few days time.
Released – Rehabilitated Mallard
This chap came to us early in the new year, exhausted and very weak. A few weeks of rehabilitation and he was ready to go. Its times like this that makes the 6am 14 hours days seem worth while.
