This little man came to us late one Sunday evening from Animal Accident Recue Unit (www.aaru.org.uk).
He was not in a good way, he could not even stand and had his legs straight outwards. After recuperating he was released earlier tonight. After flying around, he did 5 circuits before finding his bearings, he then disappeared from sight on his way back home.

Yesterday we took in 6 goslings. A member of the public stopped when they saw thier mother trying to cross the A52 with her babies and tragically she was killed, thankfully sombody stopped and managed to catch the goslings. This beautiful sparrow hawk flew into a mirror causing concussion and a broken toe, they have overcome the concussion and the toe healed. After a week in our hospital they were moved to an aviary and now released.

Another day and another patient. We collected this Little Owl from a school, he was found at the base of a tree. The owl was quite dirty, you can see the debris falling off him on the examination table, he has a swollen eye and torn skin. It is probable that the injuries were sustained…
