Meet Dexter our retired Ram.
This old boy had “served his purpose” as a breeding Ram and was no longer required, he was due to be killed. Dexter initially went to another rescue before coming to us a few weeks ago.
He is very large and quite a boisterous old boy, but he does have his moments of wanting love and fuss. We have recently had him castrated so he can go in with the herd, this will also calm him down.
Dexter our special boy is now looking for a forever home.
We have rescued another 150 hens, these were part of 20,000 birds going for slaughter, it would have perfect to rescued them all, but at least 150 will find life-long loving homes.
