This gentle giant now has a loving home. He is so sweet, he melts when you stroke and fuss him. George came in with a persistent eye infection and bad teeth. George found the best home in Nottingham and now lives in a big family of rabbits. His new owner is a real gem and a rabbit whisperer. He had his molars taken out and following a recent visit to see him again his eyes seem to be a lot clearer. We are so pleased for George.
In the past few weeks we have re-homed 6 goats with Molly joining the five already homed this weekend. This will make way for some more boys that should be coming this week. Molly joined her five friends at a great home where she has acres of lush green grass, friend to play with and loads of climbing frames.
These two babies didn’t even stay with us long enough to get names. After featuring on an ITV weather report they really did get smuggled away in the reporters pocket! No, not really she rang the following day and decided to adopt these 2 bundles of joy. We are not sure if they have names…
These 3 little fellas waited ages for a home and all of a sudden had lots of offers of homes. They happily went off to a good home with 2 of our volunteers and are busy mastering the art of going up and down a ramp.
Although we do not normally take in cats, we have had a two mothers and their litters dumped on nearby roads and two adult cats dumped at the rescue centre. Today we rehomed 13 budgies, these came to us in a very neglected state, many were starving to death and several died within a few days of rescue. Thankfully we have found a home where they now live in a huge aviary, a far better home than from where they were rescued.
