This weekend has been even more manic than normal, with two fund raisers as well as looking after the animals. We need to raise £1,000 a week, so we attend various events raising to help us raise the funds we need to pay for food, bedding, equipment and vets bills….
We had two beautiful female guinea pigs in that were so overfed, we thought that they were both pregnant, as a result we did not even take a photo of them for the website. But thankfully they weren’t and they now have a loving home.
We rescued Gerard and Walter back in in 2008, today finally they were moved to their new home, where they will be loved and fussed over, for the rest of their natural life. Lucy is adorable. She was born at a breeders but she doesn’t have perfect Dutch markings so she became a reject. We didn’t reject her – we think she’s got an amazing temperament. She has now been adopted by one of of our young volunteers.
