Lost ferret!
This poor boy has been with us for a week now and we are sure that he has an owner out there. He is so friendly but we would like to reunite him with his owner. He was found in Underwood.

These three guys have joined our ever growing population of goats.
Having felt quite pleased with ourselves for recently homing lots of rabbits and guinea pigs we have now had a sudden influx of them. Next weekend we have over 20 rabbits and guinea pigs coming in to the rescue centre. We are trying to get all the bunnies neutered and vaccinated as soon as possible…
Today we rescued another 100 battery hens. We had hoped to rescue at least 200 however we have been limited, thankfully because they have homes.
This week we have taken on yet another unwanted pig. She came with the name Charlotte but as we already have a pony with the same name we have renamed her Penny. Yesterday we set about introducing her to Rocky our Kune Kune pig thinking that he might like a friend. Unfortunately he didn’t take too kindly…
This drake was hit by a car and received injuries to his legs, beak, head and body. The main injuries are to the left leg and therefore he cannot stand.
Pigs were very fashionable as pets a few years ago, unfortunately with some people, they treat animals like clothes that go out of fashion.
Thanks to everyone who came to the open day at Lawrence Veterinary Centre and to everyone who baked cakes and bought them too! Fortunately the rain held off and it was a fabulous day. We managed to raise a brilliant £184.55.
Today this little cub came to us, very frightened and very dehydrated. After eating puppy food and lapping up loads of rehydration fluid, the cub has made a great start to recovery.
