When the weather is nice and people are out and about especially over weekends, that’s when we receive lots of calls, this weekend has been one of those and we have had to prioritise what we can help with. It’s not everyday that we get a call to rescue a baby Stoat, but today is like many other days, full of surprises.
This guy has a broken wing, he will have to be suspended in a harness for a couple of weeks in a hospital cage. Then we can remove the bandage supporting his wing, he should then be fit enough to be moved to an aviary to start the rehabilitation process before final release. Update 20 September…
