Barney Rehomed 6th July
Barney found a special home with a doe called Jessie. He had a long journey to his new home but we have had photos to confirm that he has a brilliant new home and is enjoying a very free range life.

It’s not very often that we manage to rehome cockerels, so we were happy yet sad to see this beautiful boy go off to his new home, along with 9 ex-battery hens to enjoy.

Earlier this week we fetched 50 commercial ducks from Worcestershire, that were off for slaughter, these have been factory farmed for their eggs, now at the end of their commercial life they were off for meat. We have been unable to save over 5,000 that have gone to the slaughter house, but at least these girls…
These two baby goats were a result of the milk industry, unwanted and were destined to become pet food. Fortunately we rescued them and they now live in a large garden in Gedling
