Four guinea pigs we rescued earlier this year have been rehomed. They have 9 little guinea pig friends to snuggle up to too.
It is lovely to see guinea’s in groups and neutering the males certainly helps to integrate them with one another. They are a very chilled out group of well loved guineas.
On Saturday we re-homed Oliver, Oscar and Olive to a great new home in Northampton. Oliver and Oscar were rescued last year, along with their two brothers who were homed in 2011. We rescued Dominic a few weeks ago, within a week three more ducks came to us, they all made great friends and thankfully have all been rehomed together. They have a great little brook where they can paddle happily together.
Our volunteers have mixed feelings saying goodbye to Bob and Brenda, two geese that have been with us to seven years now. Geese make great guard dogs, they are territorial and if you’re a stranger, beware of the loud honks and ankle nipping! Generally people are more frightened of geese than they are of dogs….
