These two girls were with us for too long, the little sweeties were passed over too many times but now thay have a great new life.
Our volunteers have mixed feelings saying goodbye to Bob and Brenda, two geese that have been with us to seven years now. Geese make great guard dogs, they are territorial and if you’re a stranger, beware of the loud honks and ankle nipping! Generally people are more frightened of geese than they are of dogs….
In the past few weeks we have re-homed 6 goats with Molly joining the five already homed this weekend. This will make way for some more boys that should be coming this week. Molly joined her five friends at a great home where she has acres of lush green grass, friend to play with and loads of climbing frames.
Saffy has gone to a loving new home.
Poor Frankie. He is an adorable and affectionate rabbit. He was dumped on somebody’s doorstep with his brother Sparky and had to have an emergency operation to remove a nasty, large lump. Poor Poppy came in so thin her back bone was prominent and she only looked like a baby guinea. She soon put on weight and by keeping her indoors she became a cheeky guinea who always liked to snatch a good carrot from your hand.
