The boys are rehomed – 19 September
Archie, Benji, Charlie and Dillon were all rescued at one week old, the waste by product of the dairy industry. We took them in and hand reared them, finally they have gone to a great new home in West Yorkshire.
Fern is a little stunner. It has taken us a while to put her up for adoption as she was so timid and unhandleable. But as soon as she came out of her shell and we put her up for adoption, she was snapped up and now lives in a rabbit palace with Smudge.
**Rehomed**
Finding homes for baby rabbits is normally quite easy, however while ever the babies are being rehomed the adults get left behind. Thousands of rabbits sit in recue centres awaiting new homes, yet people continue to breed them for money.
Whilst the girls from ‘The Lovely Tails’ (Brinsley Animal Rescues ebay shop) were out at lunch they found a gentleman wandering round the tea room with a wicker basket. These ducks found a great home almost as soon as they came in. All 7 of them found a home together in Nottingham to spend the rest of their days. What lucky girls, they now have a pond and 5 acres to wander around in.
