Rainbow & Snowy Rehomed 22nd Dec 10
Rainbow and Snowy were lovely little pigs. They had not been handled and were quite frightened. They found a lovely home with a young girl from Brinsley who helps out at our open days and is a budding young animal lover.
Meet Bertie, the not so ‘Micro-Pig’
When we first saw a breeder sell so called micro-pigs on the news, we just knew what would be coming our way. There is no such thing as a micr0-pig. Pigs are generally quite large and very, very powerful animals, a micro pig is a smaller version, but certainly not small or micro as many breeders claim.
Christmas at the Sanctuary – Thank you for your support
Despite the snow, the sub zero temperatures and black ice, we had a successful Christmas Open Day with around 150 visitors during the day. We took made just over £1,000, despite the weather.
