Today we took Mavis and Eric to a great new home where they now live as pet sheep, with other sheep. Mavis and Eric first came to us as unwanted pets, we have since provided them with sanctuary. By rehoming allows us to create space for other to be rescued, this won’t be for long…
Mrs Brown (so called because she found a home with a Mr Brown) was a lovely placid rabbit. After a quick bit of dating they appear to be a lovely bonded couple who will spend lots of time binkying round an enclosed garden. Here is a photo of the beautiful couple:
Rainbow and Snowy were lovely little pigs. They had not been handled and were quite frightened. They found a lovely home with a young girl from Brinsley who helps out at our open days and is a budding young animal lover.
Elsie could be a bit grumpy and so was here for quite a while. She has now gone to live in THE most amazing place with a bespoke huge hutch and run. The lucky little girl now also has a husbun called Harry – they make a fantastic couple. We await photos and updates!
This little girl is the luckiest little bunny in the world. One of our volunteers went to Melton Mowbray cattle market and managed to buy her for £1. He brought her back to us and thought we’d tell him off (as if!!). Sadly 40 or so other buns didn’t make it into his van. Poor…
