Avi found a great home and a handsome little friend called Noah. She was a young tearaway and we are convinced that she will get upto some mischief with her new friend (who was taking his afternoon siesta when she arrived on the scene).  We left them happily nose rubbing through bars and starting the bonding…

Each year 10s of millions of chickens are slaughtered at only 72 weeks old, even though they will continue to lay eggs for years. We rescue as many as we can and rehome them. These beauties came for Brighton and so far we have found homes for over 90.

Elsie could be a bit grumpy and so was here for quite a while.  She has now gone to live in THE most amazing place with a bespoke huge hutch and run.  The lucky little girl now also has a husbun called Harry – they make a fantastic couple.  We await photos and updates!

Earlier this week we fetched 50 commercial ducks from Worcestershire, that were off for slaughter, these have been factory farmed for their eggs, now at the end of their commercial life they were off for meat. We have been unable to save over 5,000 that have gone to the slaughter house, but at least these girls…
