Christmas Open Day – Big Thanks

What a great day, thank you to everyone who have helped make the 2016 Christmas Open day such a success, thank you to the dozens of volunteers preparing for the event, helping on the day, baking cakes, looking after the animals, thank you also to all the stalls and everyone who came on the day.

We have raised a massive £3,483 and had around 400 visitors to the Sanctuary and many visiting the stalls at the village Hall. All of this will go towards out huge winter bills. At this time of year we need around £1,000 a week to run the rescue, to pay for food, warm dry bedding and vets bills.

If you managed to brave the sunny but bitterly cold day and visited us, we hoped you enjoyed yourselves.

They need a field or large garden, with secure fencing and somewhere to sleep and escape from the sun, wind and rain.
