Bob and Brenda Rehomed

Our volunteers have mixed feelings saying goodbye to Bob and Brenda, two geese that have been with us to seven years now.

Geese make great guard dogs, they are territorial and if you’re a stranger, beware of the loud honks and ankle nipping! Generally people are more frightened of geese than they are of dogs.

So whilst some of of volunteers love these two amazing characters and have made peace with them, some are happy to see the stable yard terrorist go to pastures new.

Linda one of our long standing volunteers will be particularly sad to see them go. Bob and Brenda have a unique bond with linda, they get so excited on Mondays when Linda comes to volunteer, they honk like mad and run to Linda for a group cuddle.

Lets hope they make similar special bonds at their new home.
