Berry came to us pregnant, she had 7 babies which have all been rehomed. We eventually found a fabulous home for Berry with a neutered male friend called Snitter. They seemed to get on well together and we were so pleased to find Berry a companion she can spend the rest of her life with.
*** Update Now rehomed*** We have 3 groups of guinea pigs that are looking for homes. Two neutered boys, three girls and two unneutered boys. Get in touch if you can offer any of them a home.
Morris was another statistic an unwanted pet, that’s how he came to us, as do too many pets. But now thanks to Brinsley Animal Rescue, he has been assessed, castrated and rehomed in a loving home where he has a spayed partner as his life long friend.
The new owners of these little treasures is over the moon and very happy. We are so pleased that all 4 of these young boys went to a very special home and remained together. This little girl is the luckiest little bunny in the world. One of our volunteers went to Melton Mowbray cattle market and managed to buy her for £1. He brought her back to us and thought we’d tell him off (as if!!). Sadly 40 or so other buns didn’t make it into his van. Poor…
Back in June we took on these 8 orphaned ducklings. Yesterday they were all released, back into the wild, all fully fit and well. These were 8 orphaned Mallard ducklings of 22 taken on this year.
